Woman Escapes Unharmed After ECRL Structure Collapses Onto Car

A woman had a close call this afternoon when a section of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) construction structure collapsed onto her car on Jalan MRR2 near Batu Caves. Selangor fire and rescue department operations assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said a distress call was received at 1.47pm, and a team from the Selayang fire station was immediately deployed. “The victim had already been pulled out by members of the public before the fire and rescue personnel arrived at the scene,” he said in a statement today.
