Meet the women tattoo artists challenging South Korea’s strict laws. In Secret Ink, BBC 100 Women meets a handful of female tattoo artists in South Korea where it is illegal to tattoo without a doctor’s licence. They share how they face extra risks and vulnerability and how they believe the law should be changed so that artists no longer have to live in fear of being reported to the police and face potential fines or prosecution.
