PKB’s Courtesy Visit With The RETD Korea Delegation To BPEN Kedah

Permodalan Kedah Berhad (PKB), together with a delegation from RETD Korea, conducted a courtesy visit to the Kedah State Economic Planning Division (BPEN) to discuss current developments and explore new collaborative opportunities that can support Kedah’s strategic development agenda.

The visit served as a vital bilateral dialogue platform, further strengthening investment diplomacy between Kedah and Korea. Discussions centred on the exploration of high-impact strategic projects, including planned development initiatives, smart technology solutions, and advanced energy systems that align with the state’s economic aspirations and Korea’s technological capabilities.

The PKB delegation was led by Group Chief Executive Officer, Mohd Azad bin Jasmi, accompanied by Business Development Manager, Puan Muzzaini binti Abd. Rahman, Assistant Operations Manager, Encik Mohd Hamiz bin Redzuan, Corporate Communication Executive, Cik Hafizatul Nasuha binti Amir Hafize, and Project Executive, Cik Nor Shada binti Md Dahlal, and were warmly received by the BPEN management team.

The RETD Korea delegation was represented by Mr. Dusun Kim, Chief Executive Officer of the organisation.

The entourage was officially welcomed by YBhg. Dato’ Haji Mohd Fauzi bin Mustaffa, DSSS., AMK., BCK., Deputy State Secretary of Kedah, together with the senior management of BPEN.

This engagement further reinforces PKB’s commitment to positioning itself as a strategic catalyst for state development by cultivating robust international partnerships—particularly with Korean investors renowned for their technological advancement, industrial excellence, and strong track record in global investments.

PKB remains optimistic that this strengthened partnership will continue to flourish, opening more pathways for strategic collaborations that not only enhance Kedah’s economic competitiveness but also deliver long-term benefits to the people, as well as global investors choosing Kedah as their preferred investment destination.
