A federal judge on Thursday ruled that immigration agents violated the Fourth Amendment when they falsely claimed a woman inside a bathroom stall who they demanded “pull up” her pants freely admitted to being in the country illegally. On Sept. 4, agents detained 57 people inside the Nutrition Bar Confectioners factory in Cato as part of the Trump administration’s aggressive push for mass detentions and deportations of people suspected of living in the United States illegally. They charged five people, including Argentina Juarez-Lopez, with illegally re-entering the country following deportation.
