Lando Norris’ Bonus From McLaren For Winning Drivers’ Championship – It’s Massive

British driver, Lando Norris, secured his maiden Formula 1 world title in 2025, and McLaren paid out a handsome bonus fee as reward for the championship victory. Norris beat out four-time champion Max Verstappen by just two points to claim his title and the prestigious number one car for the 2026 season. Third place proved enough for the Brit in the highly-anticipated grand finale in Abu Dhabi, with Verstappen and McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri crossing the chequered flag ahead of him yet having to accept a spot on the sidelines for the title party.
