Carlos Ghosn, the former automotive executive once hailed as a turnaround figure at Nissan and Renault, has become one of the most controversial figures in global business. From leading major carmakers to his arrest in Japan and dramatic escape to Lebanon, Ghosn’s career has been marked by both success and controversy. In a special interview with Leigh-Ann Gerrans on Al Arabiya English, Ghosn says he is a victim of the justice systems in Japan and France and shares his perspective on Lebanon’s plan to normalize ties with Israel.
