Over the past 24 hours, Israel carried out its second deadliest assault since the thing they call a ceasefire went into effect — killing at least 36 Palestinians, most of them women and children. These weren’t military sites. These weren’t resistance tunnels. These were tent encampments and displacement shelters — places where families fled because Israel told them they’d be safer there. Let me repeat that:
Israel bombed the very places where displaced families were told to seek safety.
