KUALA LUMPUR: A woman’s act of kindness towards a homeless foreigner backfired when her guest allegedly stole a mobile phone and RM4,500 in cash from her home.
Ampang Jaya police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Azam Ismail said the 29-year-old victim lodged a report on Nov 28 after discovering the theft.
She was told by her daughter that a mobile phone and a luggage containing clothes and RM4,500 in cash were missing, believed to have been taken by the foreign woman.
