Will NATO Stop Expanding For World Peace?

Who is NATO?

NATO, which stands for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, is an intergovernmental military alliance that was established in 1949. It was formed as a response to the growing concerns over Soviet expansion and the threat of communism during the Cold War. The organization initially consisted of twelve founding member countries, including the United States, Canada, and several European nations. Over the years, NATO has grown to include 30 member countries. With over 70 years of existence, NATO has played a vital role in promoting collective defense, security, and stability among its member nations.

The above introduction, obviously, was written by AI. It’s also the official “story” you’ll find with a quick Google search of “origins of NATO” or “Why was NATO formed.”

Dig deeper, and you’ll find that in the aftermath of World War II, NATO was founded. Now, if you remember your history, that was after the defeat of Nazi Germany.

The major superpowers of the time were the US and the Soviet Union. In typical American fashion, the US formed a coalition of countries (NATO), with the excuse of making sure the Nazis won’t return. But in reality, the Soviet Union was to become the new evil in the world.

4 years after Hitler’s defeat… Who would’ve suspected that the Soviet Union, who actively participated in the majority of the war and won many decisive battles, at the expense of their economic health, was hell-bent on repeating Hitler’s mistake?

Of course, to those alive at the time… it didn’t make much sense. But future generations would care less, and what information was easily made available to them became the truth.

What is NATO’s relevance now that the Soviet Union is old news?

During the Cold War, NATO found a new purpose. A purpose they happily paraded anytime someone asked, “Why are you here?” They are the Hope of Europe against the “Soviet Aggression”.

In reality, the US and the UK worried that Soviet domination in Eastern Europe might be permanent. No country should seek to be as successful, if not more successful, than them. It is the unwritten law of the world.

But, to the surprise of everyone, the Soviet Union fell. And with it, Russia declined and was left poor and devastated.

So what is NATO doing now?

No, there is another.

The rise of Russia thanks to Vladimir Putin was a shock for the Western powers.

The US wasted no time in naming a new evil in the world. And news outlets love to use it. It’s called the “Russian Aggression.”

In the early years Vladimir Putin was in power, he almost had a naive approach towards diplomatic relations with the US. Believing that the US seeks peace and diplomacy for countries across the globe. On one occasion, Putin had asked an American diplomat, John Kerry, if it was possible for Russia to join NATO.

A surprised Kerry did not know how to respond. With sweat forming on his forehead, he answered “No, that’s not possible.”

You would think, that for the sake of world peace, this was America’s chance to solidify their friendship with Russia. Why compete when we can collaborate? But no…

America was already very deep into its plans for global domination. With the amount of dollars spent on their military, they couldn’t stop now.

Besides the Middle East, Russia will be its new war ground.

NATO’s Expansion and Why it Provokes Another World War

In the early years of NATO, America gave their word that NATO wouldn’t expand “even an inch” towards the East. It’s where Russia, its neighbouring countries, and its borders lie.

Today, NATO has expanded so much towards the East that they have arrived on the doorstep of Russia. The closest, are Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

For NATO to expand, it must first invite eligible countries as a member. For these countries to be eligible, they must practice policies that fit within NATO’s agenda. Then, NATO members must vote to approve membership of an invited country.

Now, what can NATO do with their member countries? Many things, but one thing that causes a lot of strain today is, installing military bases with active weapons. Yes, weapons can be fired and reach their target for miles and miles away.

In Estonia, American and NATO bases have been established. Anyone with common sense can understand that this is a threat to Russia. If they wanted, they could blow up Moscow.

If this ever happens, God forbid, the world will be plunged into another world war. Russia has nuclear power and strong allies from the East. These allies are countries that are sick of America’s hypocrisy and endless wars. And they too are rising superpowers with nuclear capabilities.

The Case for Ukraine

Russia has warned NATO to not expand to Ukraine. Despite the warnings, for the past decade, NATO and the US have interfered with Ukraine’s politics, funding coups, allowed neo-Nazi ideology to flourish, and made public declarations that Ukraine will join NATO.

This is the line that should never be crossed. And thanks to America’s “habitual line-stepping”, Russia saw no other way but to dismantle Ukraine’s military and government by force.

Even when doing so, Russia abide by the UN charter. The same can’t be said when America invades a country. But the “land of the free” has never once had to answer for its war crimes.

For people who have played the game Sid Meier’s Civilization.

Look at where NATO’s bases are today near Russia. Tell me, isn’t this what we all do when preparing to attack a country?

In the game, we would have to take over territories and get near enough to send our troops to the border of a target country. Then for the next ten or so turns, we would station our best troops at the border, waiting for the right time to attack.

NATO, is a great excuse for America to do this. They won’t have to take any nearby country by force. Only by “invitation” to become a NATO member. How convenient.

NATO’s warning is an admission

“We need a wartime transformation of NATO”

“We have to realize it’s not a given that we are in peace. And that’s why we have the plans. And that’s why we are preparing for a conflict with Russia and the uuhh terror groups. If it comes to it. If they attack us. We are not seeking any conflict”

– Chairman of NATO’s military committee Admiral Rob Bauer

He also mentioned that the US-led NATO bloc must prepare for a major conflict with Russia in 20 years, which would require mass mobilization of civilians as well as the rapid expansion of industrial output to sustain the war effort.

I’m certain the world has learned from America’s speech during the invasion of Iraq, and recently the accusations coming out from Israel. Whatever they say or accuse the other, is an admission of their actions and intent.

In the end, the point is not good vs evil, as America and its allies made it seem. The only point to all the death, destruction, genocide, and generational poverty, is this…

War is profitable, and a good country is a country that listens to America.
