Why do I invest in 300th, an emerging content platform, when the same kind of animal is already available out there? Many of them are popular, having hundreds of thousands, if not, millions of users, enjoying strong domain authority and millions of internet traffic month-in-month-out.
Well, I have my reasons—strong ones actually. The obvious reason is because, 300th is Asia-focused unlike those platforms. It means, content and authors from Asia will be prioritised. Despite the fact that video is king here in this part of the world, I still believe there are a large group of people who still read and some of them do write too. I also think that 300th will grow to be big. Not as big as YouTube for video, or Medium for articles of course. I’d be happy if this platform can grow at least 1-5 percent of YouTube’s size. I have a strong faith in it simply because it is a user-generated platform. It has 400 users now across Asia to date. It has at least 5 global brands now, which companies are uploading their media releases here. And its internet traffic and domain authority is rapidly growing too. All the signs are there.
While these vanity metrics are nice to have, what truly matters here is that, 300th can be the place for those Asian writers who don’t have their own websites or blogs (or can’t afford to have one) to park their authentic content, and be searchable on search engines. Being searchable, even without owning a website, can lead to monetisation if done right. I’ve personally done that before.
If you are a writer or someone who love to write, or a company that are keen to produce news regularly, I personally wish to invite you to register your personal account, your company account or both on 300th, and start upload your stories on the personal side, and your company’s news too on your company account. Do it in English please as the readers are from many countries. Start early. It takes time for those search engines to index your content.
And, don’t worry about the fee. It’s free.
