VinFast, Vietnam’s leading automotive brand, has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative to promote electric vehicles (EVs) and express gratitude to its customers. As part of its “Vietnamese Spirit, For a Green Future” campaign, the company announced a “zero fuel cost” policy offering free battery charging for all individual customers who have purchased or will purchase VinFast EVs from now until June 30, 2027 according to Vgreen.
This incentive, lasting over two years, is aimed at accelerating the shift to EVs and contributing to a sustainable, greener environment. Customers can save up to hundreds of millions of Vietnamese dong, significantly reducing the cost of owning and operating an electric vehicle.
Making EV Ownership Affordable
By eliminating charging costs, VinFast is minimizing the financial barriers to EV adoption. This policy makes owning an EV more accessible, bringing the cost of electric car ownership closer to that of traditional fuel-powered vehicles.
Mrs. Dương Thị Thu Trang, Vice President of Global Sales at VinFast, emphasized, “With this policy, early customers will benefit the most. It’s our way of showing gratitude to those who have trusted and supported VinFast. It also reflects our commitment to putting the customer at the center of our efforts.”
Special Offers for Transport Businesses
In addition to individual customers, VinFast has introduced tailored benefits for businesses in electric transport services. Through the V-GREEN initiative, companies like GSM will receive a 100% discount on charging costs between 10 PM and 6 AM, and a 50% discount during the remaining hours. This offer will also last until June 30, 2027, helping businesses optimize operations and make off-peak hours more productive.
Expanding Charging and Service Networks
To support the rapid adoption of EVs, VinFast is continuously expanding its V-GREEN charging station network across Vietnam’s 63 provinces and cities. With a franchising model and strong partnerships, the company is prepared to meet growing demand. Additionally, VinFast plans to operate 200 service centers by the end of 2024, ensuring comprehensive support for its customers.
