On Wednesday, The Seoul Metropolitan Government announces its plan to build the world’s tallest hubless Ferris wheel. The goal is to uplift the banks of the Han River near the World Cup Stadium in northwestern Seoul with a futuristic-looking Ferris wheel.
The Ferris wheel will be 180 meters high. Construction takes place on Haneul Park’s hilltop. The Ferris wheel will challenge China’s 145-meter Ferris wheel, and be second to the 250-meter Ferris wheel in the UAE. The Ferris wheel “Seoul Ring Zero” will mesmerize visitors with views of the city from 276 meters above sea level.
