In a bold leap forward for the global custom PC scene, EMARQUE, Malaysia’s most advanced PC builder, has unveiled the nation’s first-ever Cooler Master Shark X gaming PC build which gives a whole new definition to what it means to own a high-performance desktop.

The Shark X, often described as “a PC in the form of art,” made headlines worldwide for its unique shark-inspired silhouette. Towering at nearly one metre tall, the machine is both an artistic showpiece and a technical marvel — and now, it has found its first home in Malaysia.

“The Shark X is one of those rare builds that’s more than just tech — it’s art, it’s personal, and it’s a statement,” shared Kiri Kaniathran, founder and CEO of EMARQUE. “When our client came to us after seeing our Sneaker X build, we knew we had to make this happen for a fellow Malaysian.”

Building the Shark X was not just a matter of slotting parts together. Its curved, asymmetrical design offered no standard motherboard tray or traditional airflow pathways. Every inch of the chassis had to be carefully analysed, adjusted, and customised for the components making it one of EMARQUE’s most ambitious builds to date. “It looks like it belongs in an art gallery, not under a desk,” added Kiri.

The build was tailored for a passionate tech enthusiast and gamer in his mid-30s from Kuala Lumpur. His vision was clear and simple — to own a system that did not just perform at the highest level but stood out as the ultimate centrepiece of his setup. “I didn’t want just another powerful PC — I wanted something no one in Malaysia had yet,” he shared. “Shark X is exactly that. It’s bold, powerful, and absolutely one of a kind.”

This Shark X build is equipped with a carefully selected range of high-performance, next-generation hardware components, including:

CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 285K
GPU: ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 OC
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z890-I Gaming WiFi
Memory: GSkill Trident Z Royal 64GB (32GB x2) DDR5 6400MHz
Storage: 2 x WD Black SN850X 2TB M.2 SSDs (Total: 4TB)
Cooling: Customised Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID ATMOS
Power Supply: Corsair SF1000L 1000W Fully Modular Platinum SFX

Despite its museum-worthy look, this PC is no showroom piece. It is engineered for ultra-smooth gameplay at 1440p and 4K resolutions with ray tracing, high refresh rates, and multi-monitor setups all handled with ease. From Cyberpunk 2077 to Monster Hunter Wilds and Black Myth: Wukong, the system handles modern AAA titles with ease, consistently delivering frame rates above 100 FPS. This performance is supported by strategic airflow design and a slight CPU downclock to maintain stable thermals and prevent throttling.

For content creators, the Shark X is not just a gaming powerhouse, it also functions as a top-tier production machine. With enough muscle for 4K and 8K video editing, 3D rendering, and heavy multitasking, it easily meets the demands of creative professionals. Its unique design and rare form factor make it a sculptural collector’s item, while its internals ensure it’s built to be used and pushed to the limit.

This complete Shark X build, including parts and expert customisation, came to approximately RM33,198. The customer also completed the setup with a 57″ Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 G95NC, a dual UHD, 240Hz gaming monitor worth RM9,000 bringing the total investment to over RM42,000.

Looking ahead, EMARQUE is preparing to unveil a series of new showcase builds. The team is currently working with tech creators and global partners on limited-edition systems that merge cutting-edge performance, striking design, and compelling storytelling to push the boundaries of what a custom PC can be.

Whether you are a competitive gamer, digital creator, or simply someone who wants to own a PC that reflects their identity, EMARQUE is redefining what a custom setup can be. For more information, kindly visit https://emarque.co/
