The 17th edition of China-India Commander-level talks was held on Tuesday at the Moldo-Chushul border, said China’s Defense Ministry. In the news release, the ministry mentioned about the progress made post-16th talk edition last July.
Both countries engaged positively on the ongoing relevant issues’ resolution along the Line of Actual Control in the western sector. The discussion was deemed as “open and constructive manner”.
Both countries are convinced that sincere, thorough and active communications would contribute to maintaining peace and tranquillity in the western sector. Eventually, it will help improve bilateral relations too. The two sides agreed to maintain security and stability in the sector.
According to the news release, both sides also agreed to continuously maintain active dialogue through military and diplomatic channels to amicably settle the remaining issues at the earliest opportunity.
