SpaceX, belonging to esteemed entrepreneur Elon Musk, has recently made a move to register its business in South Korea with the intention of launching the satellite internet service Starlink, Yonhap news agency reported. According to its sources, the Ministry of Science and ICT had received a request from SpaceX to register a company in the country.
Starlink uses the 28GHz radio frequency band for its high-speed broadband that will cover both remote and urban areas. Based on its update on the website, the internet service in South Korea to commence sometime in the second quarter of 2023.
