WhatsApp recently unveiled an innovative feature which could make it simpler to juggle various accounts. This could potentially be a major convenience for its users. WABetaInfo reported that the business version of the Android app is likely to have a multi-account feature. This could prove to be quite beneficial and simplify daily tasks.
WhatsApp could benefit greatly by introducing a multi-account feature, as similar apps have already been implemented. This would allow users to access multiple accounts on the same device without needing to log out each time. It would make managing different accounts much easier and save users plenty of time. It looks like the menu is located in the settings, and based on the screenshot, you can add more than two accounts. So far, there’s no info as to what the maximum number of accounts you can handle would be.
WABetaInfo further suggests that this new development will help users enjoy privacy, manage notifications, and facilitate the use of multiple accounts on one device, without having to download multiple versions of the app. It’s still an open question as to how notifications will be handled if you log in to more than one account at once.
Meta recently released Companion Mode, a feature that lets you conveniently link up to five other phones and tablets to your primary account. This ensures you have access to the same account any time you switch devices, without having to log in each time. By linking them together, you can securely sync all your messages, calls, and media across multiple devices easily and instantly.
Though this system comes with some restrictions, such as being unable to view live locations, generate or observe broadcast lists, and add or erase statuses, there are still a lot of beneficial features that make it worthwhile. An additional layer of security is that if you don’t access WhatsApp on your main phone for more than two weeks, all other devices connected to your account will be logged out automatically.
