Royal Malaysian Police: Merdeka 118 Tower Climbers Are Being Investigated

Ivan Beerkus and his partner Angela Nikolau, who are known for their dangerous climbs, are now under the investigation of the Royal Malaysian Police. Thanks to their antics by climbing to the top of Kuala Lumpur’s Merdeka 118, the second-tallest building in the world.

After they posted photos of their stunts that went viral on social media platforms, the police received several complaints from the public. The couple is being investigated for trespassing. Merdeka 118 is still an active construction site and the couple were compromising the safety procedure and regulation set by the developer. Ivan and Angela posted videos while they were at the top of the tower on their Instagram channels.
