In a significant milestone for industrial safety, ROSEN Group in Malaysia has surpassed one million man-hours without a single recordable safety incident, marking a new benchmark in pipeline inspection and asset integrity services.

The achievement was celebrated at ROSEN’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Glenmarie during its annual Health, Safety, and Environment Day (HSE Day), held in conjunction with the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

“This isn’t just a number, it’s a culture,” said Floris Verhagen, ROSEN’s Vice President for Business Collaboration and Resourcing Management, Asia Pacific. “Every hour of safe operation across high-risk projects reflects our team’s discipline, care, and commitment to doing what’s right.”

With operations in over 120 countries, ROSEN Group has built a global reputation for delivering safety-driven inspection technologies. During the event, attendees were given a firsthand look at the company’s latest innovations, including hands-free inspection tools and real-time risk-reducing systems, underscoring its continued leadership in technical excellence and asset integrity.

But HSE Day was more than just a celebration of internal achievements. It also served as a platform to promote the company’s broader Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals. ROSEN collected ESG-related data throughout the day, from fabric donations to recycling efforts and a blood donation drive in partnership with the National Blood Centre, which yielded 30 bags of blood.

“We designed every touchpoint of the event to create a measurable positive impact,” said Noor Alia Mohd Anif, ROSEN’s Head of Marketing and Communications, Asia Pacific.

More than 100 kilograms of fabric were collected during the event, with a target of reaching 300 kilograms by the end of a two-week campaign. E-waste bins were also stationed throughout the venue to promote sustainable disposal practices.

Since 2022, the company’s local arm has recorded a 28% drop in electricity consumption and cut travel-related emissions by 29%. This is a reflection of its ongoing commitment to reducing its environmental footprint.

Established in Malaysia in 1993, ROSEN has grown into a regional hub with over 100,000 kilometres of pipeline inspections completed across Asia. The company aims to continue driving impact through innovation, safety excellence, and community engagement.
