According to the local police, Momoka Taniguchi has refuted the charges and claimed that the burns on the man, who is assumed to be her partner, were due to accidentally spilling hot water for instant noodles and not intentionally pouring it.
According to the police, Taniguchi said that the man had gone to take a shower after the hot water was spilled on him. About 15 minutes later, when she checked on him, she found him unconscious.
The police are trying to determine the cause of his death as several wounds were discovered on the lower part of his body.
