Once A Techie In Frankfurt, This Indian Man Now A Beggar: A Sad Life Story

A Bengaluru man, formerly a tech professional with experience in Frankfurt and a prominent local tech firm, has been found begging on the streets of Jayanagar. Videos of him, disheveled and sharing his story, have gone viral on social media.

The man attributes his decline to the loss of his parents and girlfriend, which led to severe alcohol addiction. Despite his past achievements and intellectual discussions about philosophy and science, he now finds himself homeless and reliant on begging for survival.

When asked about his qualification, he said, “”I am an engineer. I was working at Mindtree in Global Village. When I lost my parents I started boozing, sir.”

He also reflected on his life and said, “Religion, caste, all those things…look at what I’ve become. I need to read more.”

Efforts to help the man have been hindered by his refusal of assistance and the complex nature of his situation, involving addiction and potential mental health issues. Local authorities and NGOs are working together to locate the man and provide necessary support.
