Two Brazilian nuns have gone viral after turning a Catholic TV show into an impromptu holy hip-hop session. Sisters Marizele Cassiano and Marisa de Paula, from the Copiosa Redenção congregation, were calmly chatting about vocational retreats on the show Família de Amor—until suddenly, they dropped the mic (metaphorically) and busted out beatboxing and dance moves that had viewers questioning if the Holy Spirit moonwalked in.
Even the host, Deacon Giovani Bastos, couldn’t resist and jumped in, copying Sister Marisa’s divine dance routine.
Sister Marizele called it a spur-of-the-moment act, saying music is their way of vibing with young folks battling addiction. You can watch the viral video here.
Since then, the video’s blown up like a biblical miracle online, and Sister Marizele’s follower count has multiplied faster than loaves and fishes—now topping 100,000. — Euro News
