On February 7, the State Great Khural, the parliament of Mongolia, decided to send valuable humanitarian aid to Turkey. In hopes to further aid the ongoing relief efforts after the tragic earthquake that has so far claimed 33,000 lives.
Reports show that Mongolia has sent five tonnes of canned meat, one ton of candles, a thousand blankets and 20 Mongolian Gers to the people of Turkey. Mongolian Gers are the traditional living quarters of the Mongolian people. A circular hut with a pointy top. Draped with colourful covers.
It is also reported that Syria is set to receive five tonnes of canned meat, one ton of candles, and five hundred blankets.
