Beauty with brain – Anna Sueangam-iam
“My parents were garbage collectors. My childhood was surrounded by garbage and recyclables. This dress that I am wearing is to represent to the universe that those items considered worthless by many actually have their own value and beauty”
Graduated with first-class honour (gold medal) from the faculty of liberal arts and science, Kasetsart University, she is indeed a definition of beauty with a brain.
Anna Sueangam-iam was born and raised in a slum in Bangkok, according to her official Miss Universe bio. To ensure she was protected from harm, her parents sent her to live with Buddhist nuns at the temple where she grew up and survived under the temple community.
