Liverpool lost their second consecutive game at Anfield, falling to a 4-1 defeat to PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday evening. PSV got off to a dream start, earning a penalty inside the third minute after Virgil van Dijk committed a handball, and Ivan Perisic stepped up to convert. The Reds skipper has now conceded three penalties this term, more than any other Premier League player. Dominik Szoboszlai drew Liverpool level with a tap-in after goalkeeper Matej Kovar parried Cody Gakpo’s shot into his path. Yarek Gasiorowski thought he had restored PSV’s lead, but his effort was ruled out for offside.
