Everyone wants to be an entrepreneur; everyone seems to head out to start their own business venture. While some say entrepreneurship is not for everyone, you have come across this idea and wanted to try it out. Don’t get me wrong, it is a great journey. It gives you some sort of power to dictate your own life and your destiny. You’re your own boss!
What most people don’t realise is that, when you decided to start a business, you put your ‘life’ on the line actually. Financially, mental health, family values, career, and even reputation are at stake. One must be able to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity too. That is to say, every entrepreneurship step you take is a risk. And you must be willing to take the risks.
Some people don’t want any risk. Some are actively looking into it. Most people and entrepreneurs I’ve known, are somewhere in the middle. They’re not willing to take the risk for risk’s sake. They take it if it’s necessary or if that is needed to keep their business going. What I gather throughout the years is, entrepreneurs are hard-working and willing to put in the blood, sweat, and tears to achieve success. For them, sometimes the journey and the flexibility that entrepreneurship brings are more valuable than the financial gain.
So, time to kick-start your entrepreneurship journey?
