Baseball goers can now enjoy natural hot spring baths or a sauna while watching their favourite teams battle it out on baseball.
Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters manager Tsuyoshi Shinjo says “(it’s) the best ballpark in the world.” Further describing the club’s new 35,000 capacity Es Con Field Hokkaido will have a variety of entertainment.
The sauna was designed by “professional saunner” Dai Matsuo. Responsible for making the sauna handrails resemble baseball mats made of “aodamo” or Japanese ash.
