It’s Official: SBS’s “Taxi Driver” Is Returning For A Third Season!

Following the conclusion of Taxi Driver 2, Soompi reported that the producers of “Taxi Driver” had already begun planning for its sequel—Taxi Driver 3. On April 16, the production team of Taxi Driver announced that they will be renewing the show for a third season.

Although “Taxi Driver” Season 2 has finished, the show’s production team is discussing with the cast their potential return for Season 3 and has not yet set a filming schedule.

To make things more interesting, Lee Je Hoon, the star of the hit show, has expressed his enthusiasm to come back for another season during interviews.

Taxi Driver is a thrilling drama inspired by the popular webtoon of the same name. It follows a mysterious taxi service that takes revenge for victims who can’t find justice through legal means.

Following a successful 2021, Taxi Driver 2 made a triumphant return in February and even managed to outperform its Season 1 viewership ratings. To top it off, its finale garnered the highest-rated viewing of any miniseries that aired this year.
