The HR Asia Awards, Asia’s largest employee engagement recognition program, has honored outstanding companies for over a decade. According to Business Insider, after having evaluated 20,000 organizations and surveyed over 1.5 million employees, the awards celebrate excellence across 15 countries in Asia, with participants ranging from Fortune 500 firms to government-linked entities.

On December 4, 2024, IOI Corporation Berhad (IOI) stood out at the prestigious HR Asia Awards, hosted at the One World Hotel in Petaling Jaya. The company secured two distinguished accolades: Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2024 and Most Caring Company 2024, solidifying its reputation as a leader in employee engagement and workplace excellence.

IOI’s success stems from its commitment to creating an inspiring work environment driven by strategic human resource initiatives. The company has invested in robust learning and development programs, flexible work arrangements, and well-being efforts under the IOI Cares initiative. Additionally, IOI prioritizes work-life integration, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability, cultivating a culture of empathy, collaboration, and innovation that resonates with employees.

Molly Tam, IOI’s Head of Group Human Resources, and Wendy Ng, Corporate Learning & Talent Development Manager, proudly accepted the awards on behalf of the organization.

This year’s awards program, themed ‘The Definitive Z Choice,’ emphasized the importance of addressing the evolving needs of Gen Z in the workplace. IOI and other winners demonstrated their ability to attract, engage, and retain young talent while fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.

These dual wins not only highlight IOI’s ability to adapt to a changing workforce but also reaffirm its position as an employer of choice in Asia. Kudos to IOI’s HR team for their dedication to nurturing a supportive and caring workplace!
