Many of my friends are aware that I can’t speak smoothly. I stutter when talking. Just like how Elon Musk speaks. I know what to say but producing it out is never that easy. I have trouble with it, and the rhythm is never smooth. Some say the main cause of it is my brain. It works fasters than my mouth. And I tend to believe it.
Thanks to this, I tend to have a better bond with my Mac better than humans.
Since January 2023, I slowly started to write more. Before this, I tend to write more through LinkedIn and Twitter. But now, I am slowing it down a little on the social media side and boosting my active presence by micro-blogging my thoughts more on the search engines side. I created a channel on Medium, a publishing platform, and write here almost daily. The idea is to express myself better here. Of late, I hardly meet people so it’s about time to do this.
To write more, I need ideas. Usually, every morning after breakfast I will start browsing through the internet for it. My sources are Flipboard, Medium and Google News. It’s not that easy to choose a topic and write about it but to get hold of one per day is possible. My context is always opinion-based. I pick up one topic, be it a trending or an evergreen one, and write my heart out about it.
Today, I am writing this piece at one of my favourite writing spots in Malaysia—Starbucks Teluk Chempedak in Kuantan. The joint itself is right by the beach facing the ever-beautiful South China Sea. The vibe here is fantastic for bloggers like me. Kuantan is located in the state of Pahang, a three-and-a-half-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. I came here yesterday, stayed a night at a hotel and later I’ll be driving back home.
Everyone is into videos now? I don’t think so. Not all—I am not. I prefer writing instead.
