The family of four, including two children, were rescued on Friday after a crane malfunction left them stranded in the sky. They were stuck in the air for more than two hours at the attraction in Kerala, India. Muhammed Safwan, 31, his wife, Thoufeena, 25, and their two children were visiting from Kozhikode. Fire and rescue teams from Munnar and Adimali arrived at 4pm, where emergency workers climbed ropes to reach the suspended dining platform. The family were forced to climb down the ropes – assisted by rescuers.
