If you have nothing better to do, and you’re in the mood for some horror, then get your snacks ready and check out these Youtube channels.
Exploring Abandoned Mines and Unusual Places
Youtube tag: @AbandonedMines11
This Youtuber went viral a couple years ago. And it’s because he caught what seems to be ghostly whispers while exploring an abandoned mine.
There are many abandoned mines across America. Most of them, to this day, have spooky stories that the locals in the area can tell you about.
He explores them to show us a bygone era that used to be the lifeblood of the American economy. Telling us the history of the mines and how it all works.
Since the creepy video went viral, he’s been leaning into the horror aspect of exploring these abandoned mines and other unusual places.
Check out the video titled “Creepy Sounds Captured in an Abandoned Mine While Reviewing the ThruNite TN12 Flashlight”
Just to warn you, it’s really really creepy.
Mr Ballen

Gifted storytellers are rare. So it’s awesome when a channel like MrBallen exists.
He recounts disturbing and creepy stories you may have or may not have heard on the internet. His knack for telling these stories well while giving crucial details, and letting our imagination run wild, makes him stand out.
I suggest the video titled “Sacred forest snatches bodies and creates internet’s DEEPEST rabbit hole”
Wartime Stories
Youtube tag: @WartimeStories
This channel is my personal favourite. Here’s why.
I’d consider Wartime Stories a niche in horror. This channel exclusively shares horror stories from military veterans and active-duty military members.
I never would have thought that soldiers encounter the otherworldly. But here we are. And the amount of stories from them is PLENTY.
The creator of Wartime Stories is a Marine vet. When needed, he explains the military lingo told in these horrific accounts. It’s easy to suspend disbelief and imagine you are there as it’s happening.
The stories are given life through animated visuals, realistic sound effects, dialogue, and a golden narrating voice by the creator himself.
To start, I suggest going to the channel’s playlist section and choosing “Smoke Pit Stories“.
Warning: The stories in this channel are true accounts of military personnel.
Bedtime Stories
Youtube tag: @BedtimeStoriesChannel
This channel inspired Wartime Stories. The delivery of every video has some similarities but what makes it different is the narration by the creator (obviously) and the types of stories told.
Bedtime Stories is a mix of famous cases reported globally, historical accounts of the otherworldly, and folklore.
I don’t have any particular suggestions for this channel. So pick one at random and enjoy.
I have to add a disclaimer. Because these channels offer genuine horror, I’d say these channels are not suitable for children and pregnant women. If that’s not you, enjoy!
