Last December 2022, βFuture 100β, an initiative by the UAE government to support its top 100 start-ups to ensure the country will firm its footing in the readiness for the future as far as the economy is concerned, The Khaleej Times reported.
The launch event was attended by its Minister of Economy, Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, the Minister of State for Government Development and the Future, Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi and 30 business leaders representing the start-up communities in the country.
During the event, the ministries ensured their full commitment to the initiative. Its impact will extend up to 5 decades and the strategy is to go in line with the futuristic economic model by benchmarking the emerging global trends happening worldwide. In the end, it will contribute to the government’s economic agenda of UAE and eventually shape the future of its economic direction.
