From Idea To Impact, The Power Of Simplicity

This weekend, I’m dedicating it to finalising my next business move. Refining it to be more impactful in the shortest period of time, matters. And every single strategy, be it business or marketing, is important.

Usually I will start with how best to go to the market, and win from Day One. The starting point needs to be the customers—who they are. Here, I will carefully identify them, and list them down in 3 tiers. Next to it, I then list down what they really want, real problems that need to be solved, or things that can make their life better, based on the niche I’m in. Next to this, is the potential solution column. Here, I need to know what type of potential solution they have in mind they will consider.

In the next column, I must list down their purchasing journey, as in, how they would buy it and why. This part requires deep thinking and a little visualisation skill. Next to this, I need to fill up the services I’m offering to map with those requirements. This is the part that requires a lot of tweaking, so that it will be nicely fit to each journey.

These 5 columns is a simplified version of the Go-To-Market (GTM). And this is just one of many templates I have in hand. Oftentimes, I use these simplified templates to elevate my chances of converting those leads generated into paid customers. The good part is, these templates are already tested and proven to be working fine.
