Uhm Ji-won stars in the recently released show, created by Jung Yeo-rang and directed by Kim Dae-jin, which follows the life of Cha Jung-sook — a housewife who set aside her dream of becoming a doctor two decades ago to focus on caring for her family. After a near-fatal experience, she made up her mind to leave behind her life as an attentive mother and begin anew with her career. She is now starting out again as a first-year resident at the hospital where Seo In-ho (Kim Byung-Chul), her spouse, is the principal surgeon.

While completing her demanding medical education, she discovers many obstacles in her personal journey, including her husband’s unfaithfulness and the appearance of Choi Seung-hee (Myung Se-bin), his first love.
