The link between the Hulk and Bruce Banner has hit a new low. In a disturbing sequence, readers witness the Hulk forcefully emerging from beneath Banner’s skin, underscoring the creature’s refusal to be confined by Banner.
The Incredible Hulk (2023) #6 continues with Banner and his new friend, Charlie, walking a desert path in hopes of reaching the next town. They get a lift from farmers who guide them to their camp for the night. Unfortunately, in an unexpected turn, Banner panics and flees as the Hulk starts seizing control without warning.
The transformation reaches an exceptionally graphic level showcasing The Hulk’s body literally extends and exerts at Banner’s skin until the Hulk tears his way out of Banner’s discarded and shredded body.

In a gruesome reversal, the Hulk violently tears away Banner’s frail skin, discarding the human form that confines him. The once-existing harmony is replaced by an explosion of violence, as Banner’s weak self proves inadequate to contain the Hulk’s violent anger, leading to the Hulk casting him aside once more.
