Selangor homeowners are being urged to exercise caution when dealing with prospective tenants after a troubling case of property damage and unpaid bills. A recent incident highlights the risks of renting to individuals with a history of problematic behavior.
A homeowner has issued a warning about Suzie Rozieana @ Naiemah Binti Yaakub (62) and Mohd Shariff Bin Abdul Razak (60), who are described as “hoarders.” Suzie Rozieana, a TikTok influencer known by her aliases “Princess Suzie,” “Ungku Suzieadriana,” and “Aunty Pink,” is accused of leaving a rented property in Selangor in a state of severe disrepair.
Claims of Property Damage and Unpaid Bills
The homeowner revealed shocking details about the financial and structural toll left behind:
- Unpaid TNB electricity bills amounting to RM16,000.
- Damaged water systems, including pipes and the water meter, costing RM2,500 in repairs.
- Unpaid rent, estimated at RM13,000.
The total losses are estimated to exceed RM33,000. The homeowner shared photos of the damaged property alongside images of the tenants for public awareness.
Lessons Learned from the Experience
The homeowner admitted to several oversights that contributed to the situation, including:
- Renting out the property without thoroughly vetting tenants.
- Not conducting regular inspections of the home.
- Transferring the electricity account under the tenant’s name.
Efforts to evict the tenants proved challenging, even involving police intervention. The homeowner shared a tip on how they gained entry by reporting an emergency scenario.
According to the homeowner, the tenants are now residing in Jalan Teratai, Taman Mega Jaya. The delay in publicizing this incident was acknowledged, but the homeowner hopes this serves as a warning to others.
Netizens responded to the post saying,
“Even watching live shows you know how dirty it is…do you think you own the property?…it’s rented…what about the landlord?”Â
“Before (they rented it) there was air conditioning, then it disappeared”
Is this the Cempaka house? I always watch TikTok, I feel sorry for the neighbors next door. I’ve been there.
