Alphabet’s Google Registers With The Securities And Exchange Commission Of Pakistan

This will pave the way for other large international companies to open offices in the country. Recently, Google registered itself with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan to comply with the country’s regulations for social media companies.

It will give the assurance that data will be safe if Google’s server is built in Pakistan. Though today there are a number of foreign companies based in the country, data from all these is getting stored outside Pakistan. With Google’s registration, this development will change the negative perception and the general lack of trust from foreign companies in the country due to inconsistent policies.
