Google Analytics, this is the very first app I will power up every morning right after I’m done with the routines. Today, I checked it a little bit late. It was already 7.45 am. Checking the traffic performance of 300th has always been at the top of my to-do list every single day. This morning, Google Analytics gave me a little surprise. It showed that 163,300 visitors came and visited my content-sharing platform in the last 30 days. I’m like, whoa. That pretty much translates to just over 5,400 visitors per day. During breakfast at a joint near my house, I shared the analytics data with my wife. She was shocked too. “It seems that your 2025 starts with a bang!” she said. “This could be even bigger than our Marketing In Asia.”
After we were done with our nasi lemak sotong breakfast, my wife then showed me a list of unpleasant news from her mobile phone. She pointed to one specific news story involving a jailed politician who stole billions of money from the people of Malaysia. There is a large group of people who somehow, for unknown reasons, are fighting hard for that corrupt guy to be out of jail and undergo house arrest. I just smiled. The world is ending. That’s why many weird things keep appearing around us. The corrupt elite politicians are untouchables here in this country. And, the same people fighting corruption are also fighting for their corrupt so-called leader to be out of jail despite stealing billions. They are being selective in their battles. Whatever. I just hope the whole country doesn’t go under because of these clowns, that’s all.
My wife left the breakfast joint first as she had to attend something at my son’s school. And, I left 10 minutes after that—heading straight to my new office. It took me one and a half hours to reach Equine Park from Shah Alam. I hate traffic jams, really, but not today. It’s a special day today. It is official now that a big management consulting firm, Nematix, has acquired AAR & Company. The negotiation was done last December and it took us slightly more than a month to complete the transaction. This win showcases to me that the cashflow-first business model is the best. Now, everything is good to go. No, I won’t disclose the amount this time. But one thing for sure, this journey is definitely the beginning of something wonderful.
